From the series FarmerFlorist, an ongoing project about the vibrant local ‘artisan’ cut flower farms which have recently sprung up in the UK, aiming to celebrate domestic growers past and present and to comment on the human connection with nature through flowers.

The flower images were created on the farms themselves or at home in a daylight studio using flowers obtained directly from the growers, some of whom grow in excess of 500 varieties.
