Across the country, a growing movement of farmers, millers and bakers has been reshaping breadmaking for the better, for both people and the planet.
In the heart of the North York Moors, Hill Top Farm is the base of ‘Yorkshire Organic Millers’ and home of Nelly and Philip Trevelyan. Since 2005, the pair have experimented to transform their methods of growing organic wheat, milling and distributing the highest quality flours in an environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible way.
Now, with a shared commitment to sustainable farming and traditional milling, Nelly and Philip work tirelessly to connect local farmers, millers, bakers and communities across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. By championing organic principles, they ensure that every loaf tells a story: of craftsmanship and deep respect for the land.
